The Breakthrough Theatre Company in Winter Park will be organizing a summer camp starting in June.
The Improv and Theatre Games Camp is a program that teaches teens about the various skilled required for becoming an actor. The activities held during the sessions will help students develop their confidence and increase their creativity. The instructors will educate campers on becoming a good team player and give advice on how to be quick witted. All participants will be given a free snack and beverage, though additional refreshments can be purchased from the venue.
The Breakthrough Theatre Company is an organization that performs multiple shows and hosts events throughout the year. The theatre also participates in a charity drive during the holidays to provide presents to kids with incarcerated parents. The theatre’s camp will be held from Monday, June 27 to Friday, July 1, and each session will take place from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. The students will be holding a talent showcase at the theatre on July 1 after camp. The cost to take part in the program is $100. Students will be allowed to bring food from home to the venue.
