People looking for something unusual to do in Winter Park have an option—a treasure hunt.
Let's Roam has developed an app that will allow people to get outside for fun, or for a good cause. Whether the person has just moved to Winter Park, is visiting, or is a long-time resident, the activity is a great way to learn about the city. All a participant needs is a pair of good walking shoes.
As part of the activity, treasure hunters will have to navigate their way through various neighborhoods and attractions, and take photos, but they will also have to remember they're racing to beat the clock. They will take photos of the various target destinations, which include the Cornell Fine Arts Museum, Central Park, and Kraft Azalea Park.
Let's Roam says a treasure hunt is a good substitute for the traditional bachelor and bachelorette parties. They are also good corporate events, since participants can split into teams to compete against each other, building a sense of camaraderie in office mates. There is even a hall of fame for winning treasure hunters.
The next Winter Park Scavenger Hunt is scheduled for January 4, from 10.00 am until 10.00 pm. There are various tickets available: the four-person family pack is $44; the two-player date night pack is $39; and the eight-player party pack is $80. Brochure printing can be used to create a guide for events like this.
