Drawing Connections: Inside the Minds of Italian Masters, A Selection from the John Mica Collection is scheduled at the Cornell Fine Arts Museum in Winter Park.
The exhibit showcases drawings from Italian artists of long ago along with the working styles and methods and connections with wealthy patrons. The exhibits are drawings from the sixteenth to the nineteenth centuries and will present a range of details such as subject content, regional schools and mediums.
The upcoming Italian artist exhibition is compiled from Congressman John Mica’s collection. It includes religious and secular studies and subjects along with landscape and architectural drawing works by masters such as Giovanni Battista Tiepolo, Agostino Carracchi, and Luca Cambiaso.
The guest curator for the exhibition will be Dr. Kimberly Dennis. Dr. Dennis is a professor of art history at Rollins. She also students at the ARH 404 Museum Studies Practicum.

The Drawing Connections: Inside the Minds of Italian Masters will take place on April 1 from 10:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. The Cornell Fine Arts Museum is located at 1000 Holt Avenue. Admission to the museum is free. For more information call 407-646-2526.
