Construction of new offices in Orlando underway

Megastron Development LLC has opted to build speculative office space in Orlando in a project that will involve an investment of about $20 million.

The organization behind the new development is located in Brazil, but it has already finished a building in the Kirkman Road district in close proximity to the planned construction. When the new offices are ready for use, the firm could use banner printing in Winter Park for the purpose of staging an event. Todd Davis, a director at Colliers International for Central Florida, has said:

“Pre-leasing an office building is hard because you can’t see it, you can’t walk through it and you can’t touch it. But the interest level for our to-be-built phases has gotten to the point [the developer] wants to build and the market is strong enough to support it so they’re taking a chance.”

Mr. Davis will work to lease the offices on behalf of the Brazilian enterprise. The developer has been successful in leasing some of the offices in its existing building in the area. Walt Disney Parks & Resorts Technology has leased three floors of space from the developer already.

The new construction may benefit in terms of potential tenant attraction by being close to a parking garage. The office space should have grade A status on completion and the building should offer almost 135,000 square feet of space on several different floors.
