The annual Earth Day in the Park and Arbor Tree Giveaway is taking place next month, hosted by the City of Winter Park and Keep Winter Park Beautiful.
There will be plenty of activities for visitors of all ages to take part in this year. This includes educational workshops such as ‘Creating a Bird Friendly Yard’ presented by the Audubon Society, and another one on how to identify different trees. Other attractions include a live oak planting ceremony, information booths from gardening experts, and tree-themed giveaways.
There are also set to be a variety of children's activities taking place during the day, one of which will be learning how to climb a tree using rope. In addition, several schools will be awarded Green School Grants during the opening ceremonies.
Organizers will no doubt be advertising this upcoming event widely in Winter Park and the surrounding areas. Printing companies are often asked to provide products like Flyers and Posters to help market these types of events. Both products are inexpensive to produce but can be quickly distributed to public buildings or residents, with a positive effect.
