The 41st annual Winter Park Autumn Art Festival is taking place over two days this October, hosted by the Winter Park Chamber of Commerce.
During the festival, Park Avenue will be closed to traffic. A total of 156 artists have been chosen from 350 applications to participate in this year's event, and they will be competing for a series of prizes in eight categories, ranging from drawings and graphics, to ceramics and fine crafts. A couple of the awards to be presented are Best of Show and Award of Merit; all come with cash prizes.
In addition to the wide array of arts for display and sale, there will be live musical entertainment, food vendors, a sidewalk sale from many of the stores on Park Avenue, and children's creative activities provided by the Crealde School of Art.
Winter Park printing companies will no doubt be asked to provide advertising materials like Flyers and Brochures for this annual event. As with last year, a festival guide will be available, which will highlight the participating artists and recognize business sponsors, while also serving as a souvenir.
