A West Palm Beach event that is aimed at helping to make labor a positive experience for women will soon be taking place, and almost any medical professionals with an interest in the field is welcome to attend.
Dr. Maya Guruswami, ND, will serve as the facilitator for the session, which will address the topic of how naturopathic treatments can be used in labor and delivery. Those who participate will have a chance to learn about the process of childbirth, and also how an obstetrician or other medical professional can use naturopathic medicine to make having a baby as stress- and pain-free as possible. The training will take place over two days, and at the end of the second session, those who participate will be able to opt to rate some of their own naturopathic treatments to take home with them.
The course is open to RM, LM, CNM, DO, MD, and NDs, and students in any of these fields will also be able to participate. The registration fee has been set at $249 each. Presentation Folders can be prepared ahead of time to give to each person wo participates in an event like this.
