West Palm Beach hosts dining with a difference

A unique dining experience is planning to make its annual return to West Palm Beach, allowing area residents to sample different cuisines in the dark.

The 17th Annual Dining in the Dark is coming back to town, and food enthusiasts will want to make their reservations to enjoy a dining experience sure to tantalize their taste buds. The dining experience will pair with a silent auction where attendees can bid on unique and collectible items. A cash bar will have drinks to ensure a fun social hour before the dinner.

The event is being organized and presented by the Florida Outreach Center for the Blind. The three-course dinner will be served by the local police department’s SWAT Team, which will wear night vision goggles. A guest speaker at the dinner will give an inspiring speech, which will be followed by entertainment and live music. Print shops can provide dining and nutritional information to guests to provide the best and safest culinary experience.

The dining experience will raise funds for therapeutic, educational, support, and vision services for area residents with vision impairment, allowing them to enjoy independent lives.

The West Palm Beach Marriott on Okeechobee Boulevard will host the dining event on Sunday, November 9th, from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. Tickets are $125 per person and are available from AllEvents.in.
