A campus of the Pine Crest private school will be coming to West Palm Beach.
Stephen Ross, a prominent developer in West Palm Beach, has made a large and undisclosed gift to make this new campus possible.
Pine Crest is a nondenominational and independent school. Boca Raton is the site of its pre-kindergarten through 8th grade campus while Fort Lauderdale is the site for its pre-kindergarten through 12th grade campus. Its classes typically have between 15 and students and the school is known for its academic rigor.
Pine Crest has intermittently considered a campus in West Palm Beach, but the recent growth of the city, due primarily to the migration of new residents and financial firms to the city as well as the COVID-19 pandemic, has led the school to its recent announcement. Ross decided to invest in a private school because he believed that executives of companies will be more inclined to expand to West Palm Beach if they know their children can get a high-quality education.
News of such expansions and their benefits for its residents can be made known with flyer printing.
Christine Dardet, chief of staff at Pine Crest, said the grade levels to be offered and the exact location of the campus in West Palm Beach are still to be determined.
