The new campus will be near the Dryfoos School of the Arts and the Tri-Rail Station, between Evernia and Fern Streets. It will offer graduate programs in data science, business, engineering, and artificial intelligence. It is expected that it will accommodate 100 members of the faculty and 1,00 graduate students. Brochure printing is often used to provide more details about such upcoming campuses and the programs that will be offered.
Chancellor of Vanderbilt, Daniel Diermeier, said the decision to build this West Palm Beach campus is because the university is:
“..committed to situating our students and researchers near groundbreaking innovation and industry-defining expertise wherever it might be.”
Keith A. James, mayor of the city of West Palm Beach, said this campus will transform the city. He added that the programs that will be offered will help to strengthen the position of the city as a hub for innovation and build the skilled workforce companies are seeking.
The next step is to finalize the design plans and then start construction. A date for the groundbreaking has not yet been determined.
