The United Way of Palm Beach County has partnered with the city of West Palm Beach to offer free, in-person services to help people with the preparation of their taxes through the VITA Tax Program.
These services are available to anyone who needs help with preparing their taxes and will be offered on a first come, first served basis. People do not need to make an appointment, meaning they can get the assistance they need when they need it during the tax season.
Partnerships such as this one often turn to local Print shops for the creation of Flyers, Posters, and other printed materials to inform residents of important available services.
Mayor Keith A. James expressed his excitement about collaborating with United Way of Palm Beach County to be able to offer this service to the community. He added that having access to free tax preparation services can be important for families and individuals. He encourages all residents who are eligible to take advantage of this offering.
Staff from the VITA will be available at the Eva W. Mack Community Hub on North Australian Avenue on from 9:30 am to 1:30 pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. The area for tax preparation services is a meeting room at the back of the building near the kitchen area. These services will be available through Monday, April 15.
