The Pleasant City Share-A-Supper community event will be held for the 33rd year in West Palm Beach to offer residents a Thanksgiving dinner.
It is estimated that 400 Thanksgiving dinners will be served by leaders and employees of the city to families and residents. Included in the dinner will be turkey, mashed potatoes, rice, string beans, a dinner roll, and a beverage. The goal is to offer a hearty and warm meal to the community as part of the holiday season.
Poster printing can be used throughout a city so those looking for such meals during the holiday season know where to find them.
Mayor Keith A. James said that this gathering every year is designed to bring families and individuals together for a special dinner for Thanksgiving. He added that everyone deserves a meal that is warm as well as people with whom they can share it, especially at this time of the year.
The generosity of the local business community and the city of West Palm Beach is making this dinner possible. The mission of the city of West Palm Beach is to collaborate with the community to enhance and preserve the quality of life through providing effective and efficient services focused on the community.
The Thanksgiving dinner will be from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday November 26 at the Pleasant City Community Center on 22nd Street.
