The Armory Arts Center will be holding the third annual West Palm Beach Arts Festival, featuring artists both local and non-local.
With food trucks, live music, demonstrations, and activities for all ages, there will be a total of 90 tents set up throughout the sculpture garden and parking lot at the Armory campus.
The Armory Arts Center has been in business since 1986. It was formed by a group of activists, art teachers and artists when the Norton Museum closed that same year. The Armory officially opened in July 1987, and since then, it has held classes for aspiring artists of all ages, given hundreds if not thousands of shows, and accepted thousands of youth in its art camps. It established its own artists-in-residence program in 2000.
The Armory Arts Center is dedicated to maintaining its status as the lead visual arts education and exhibition center in the Palm Beaches. Its main mission is to inspire and experience art, making it an attractive organization to anybody with an interest in art or graphic design.
The Festival is free and open to the public. It will be set up for the whole weekend on December 1 and 2 from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. It will be within walking distance from the Kravis Center and the Palm Beach Convention Center.
