West Palm Beach set to empower its women of tomorrow

West Palm Beach will soon be welcoming an event that has been designed to help fight domestic violence by empowering girls to becomes strong women.

The girls who attend the ‘I am Royal’ seminar and the banquet that will follow will receive a variety of information and tips they can use as they mature and form adult relationships. It will teach those who take part how to empower themselves, improve their self-esteem, and build their communication skills so they can speak up for themselves. It is geared for those who are in grades 4 through 12, and only 50 spaces are available.

Upon the conclusion of the workshop, there will be a special ‘coronation banquet’, which will further celebrate the girls and seek to boost their sense of self-worth. All those who take part in the workshop will receive a specially designed certificate of completion. Presentation Folders of information can be prepared by a local Print company for use during a function such as this.

The event that seeks to help prevent future domestic violence is being brought to the local community through the co-operation of I am Who I Am and FRCWC.
