A donation of $100,000 from the Related Philanthropic Foundation has been given to the city of West Palm Beach.

The Related Philanthropic Foundation is the charitable organization of the Related Group, a leading real estate company. These funds will go towards the Mayor’s Jumpstart Academy (MJA) which is an initiative that provides entrepreneurship training and credit building for a more prosperous city.to underserved and underrepresented communities.
Keith A. James, mayor of West Palm Beach, expressed his gratitude for these funds which will enable the city to have a significant impact on many residents of the city. He added that the MJA shows the commitment of the city to building a more thriving and inclusive community and these funds will enable the city to advance that goal.
Under the leadership of James, the MJA was launched and empowers those in West Palm Beach with the tools and knowledge needed to pursue entrepreneurial endeavors and build a secure financial future. The MJA partners with the Co. Starters network, Justine Petersen, and the Urban League of Palm Beach County to help entrepreneurs and small business owners to develop an idea into a business in 90 days. Chairman, CEO, and Founder of the Related Group, Jorge Pérez, expressed his commitment to helping to unlock opportunities for the residents of the city.
