A not-for-profit organization that provides care to undersocialized cats and dogs, as well as to pet owners who may not have the money they need to pay for veterinary care, has almost finished the construction of its new clinic in West Palm Beach.
Paws2Help began the project in September, and according to the group’s founder Eve Van Engel, if things go as planned, it will be ready to treat its first patients in the next few months. The total price tag for the 6,000 square foot facility is expected to come in at around $180,000.
The organization operates on a nonprofit basis, which allows it to charge much less for veterinary care than some other clinics. Van Engel noted that many local vets refer clients who are not able to afford the higher prices some vets charge to the Paws2Help clinic already in operation on West Palm Beach’s Indian Road. A business card printing company can produce cards and other promotional materials for the new facility that can get the word out to the public that they are open and ready for business.
Van Engel further remarked that officials will be putting the lessons they have learned at their current location into practice and their new one. His will allow them to provide the very best in care to animals that may have no other place to go.
