West Palm Beach celebrates its downtown

Many cities are trying to find ways to revitalize their downtown districts, and West Palm Beach has discovered what it hopes will be a boon to its central core.

The West Palm Beach Arts and Entertainment District is a group of 20 different venues and other stakeholders who have come together to promote the district as an arts and cultural destination for residents and visitors alike. At a recent celebration held at the Downtown West Palm Beach Waterfront Pavilion, they shared the details of their plans with the public.

People can visit the district’s website and follow it on social media to find out more about what the district has to offer, or purchase tickets and visitor packages. There are libraries, museum, galleries, theaters, performing arts companies, and other artistic establishments that provide unique experiences, and a free trolley service makes it easy for people to travel between them.

It is hoped that this will increase visitor traffic to the downtown which will provide spinoff benefits for other businesses as well. For example, many people like to make an evening out of going to the theatre and then for dinner. This will increase the number of patrons for the local restaurants.

As more visitors come to the downtown area and the number of businesses rises, they will need items such as Brochures, Menus, printed Shopping Bags, invoices, and signage. All of these can be provided by printing companies, which will mean a boost in their revenues as well.
