LagoonFest will take place in the West Palm Beach Waterfront/Flagler Drive early next month.
The day is a celebration of the Florida Everglades and Lake Okeechobee’s teeming waters. Offering a tour of the local estuaries, the event is likely to be supported by colorful printing services.
LagoonFest is family friendly. It involves a lot of wildlife presentations, kayak clean-up tours, paddleboard yoga demonstrations, mural painting, kid zones, and locally grown food. The Picture Time with Free Calendars, like its title suggests, will be giving away free calendars.
Preregistration is required for the kayak cleanup tours and can be made through ThePalmBeaches.com, and participants must be at least 12 years old. A free visitors’ guide can also be obtained through the website.
Patrons are advised to understand that Flagler Drive is a long stretch of road. The exact location of LagoonFest is from the water fountains at Clementis Street and from the West Palm Beach Greenmarket toward the waterfront. The Greenmarket will be holding over 90 vendors for local fresh foods and other goods. The Evernia Garage is free between 6:00 am to 2:00 pm, but the Banyan Garage has a $5 fee and patrons are allowed to park there between 6:00 am and 2:00 pm.
