Construction is currently underway on Downtown Palm Beach Gardens that will update the lifestyle and entertainment complex. Residents of West Palm Beach will want to visit this retail destination once these renovations are completed.
Downtown Palm Beach Gardens spans 49 acres. Among the updates will be:
• Relocation of the carousel in the complex from the Center Court to the waterfront
• New signage
• Realignment of the entry drive aisle from Alternate A1A
• New sculptural seating and swings, landscaping, and murals
The carousel will be replaced with a new interactive water feature. This will be part of a new play area along the waterfront and will also have stone seating, hammocks, and other amenities.
The company which owns and operates Downtown Palm Beach Gardens, ShopCare Properties, has said that some areas in the center will also be renovated with such features as updated paint colors, colorful tiles, tropical landscaping, and other elements that evoke a vacation setting or getaway. Print shops are often hired to create materials and displays with more information about such amenities and features.
Vice President of Specialty Leasing for ShopCore, Nina Rogers, said that the company wants to create relaxing and inviting spaces throughout the property that can be enjoyed by guests, diners, and shoppers.
A mixed-use tower with office, retails, hotel, and restaurant space and a multifamily residential building will also be built by ShopCore on the site.
