If things go as planned, there could soon be a new way to get around the city of West Palm Beach.
A recently proposed trolley service would provide transportation throughout the area. This would mean that fewer people would have to pay for parking or gas. It is felt that this could encourage more people to visit places like Northwood Village, which is a community that many know little about.
Lola Lower, who owns a business in the area, said she would welcome this new service, as it would encourage people to come to the neighborhood and perhaps patronize her establishment. She further noted that she has been asking for the trolley service for some time, and is glad that there are plans for the project to go ahead.
The next stop on the proposed route would be the Palm Beach Outlets. After that, it would head downtown.
The city has remarked that if the project gets up and running, it would be monitored to find out where the most passengers are getting off and on. A Direct Mail printing company can design and create maps to be sent out to the public so they will know about the new service and where the stops along it are located.
Northwood resident Betsy Dorn explained that she is in favor of the new trolley route, as it would help to link the neighborhoods together and build a sense of community between them.Get a Free Quote for Direct Mail
