New office buildings coming to West Palm Beach
Construction on two top tier commercial office towers has begun in West Palm Beach, by the company Related Ross.
These two towers together will span approximately 1 million square feet in the downtown area. Senior vice president of development for Related Ross, Jordan Rathlev, said that this groundbreaking at CityPlace is the culmination of the 30 years of commitment by his company to creating an integrated and dynamic urban core.
The office tower at 10 CityPlace will cover 480,000 square feet while the tower at 15 CityPlace will be 25 stories high and cover 500,000 square feet. The latter will have retail and restaurant space on the ground floor that will span 20,000 square feet.
Also part of the plan will be anchor tenant, Cleveland Clinic, a healthcare and research non-profit organization, leasing 125,000 square feet with a modern facility for ambulatory patients at 15 CityPlace. Related Ross said that this facility will be part of a new campus of Cleveland Clinic hospital. Rathlev said that the clinic’s decision to quadruple its floor space shows how West Palm Beach is appealing as a center for leading institutions in finance, technology, and healthcare.
