The site of a former City Hall is currently being developed by Woodfield Investments, Concord Hospitality, and Navarro Lowrey into a mixed-used project in downtown West Palm Beach.
The project, to be called Flagler Banyan Square, will include a boutique hotel called The Ben, which is a property of the Marriott Autograph Collection, 34,000 square feet of retail and office space, and 251 luxury apartments. The general manager for the project will be Bernardo Neto, who has been executive director of the Park MGM in Las Vegas where he supervised the hotel’s rebranding at a cost of $55m.
Announcements of projects such as these often turn to banner printing to make those in the community aware of their development.
The hotel is located along the waterfront and will feature meeting space, ballrooms, and two restaurants, one of which will be on the rooftop, and is hoped to become a destination for both travelers and residents.
Neto has said that the hotel will have a whimsical atmosphere and be comfortable and unpretentious, yet display elements of luxury. It is one of the many new residential projects, office towers, and hotels that are being built is downtown West Palm Beach. There has been tremendous growth in the number of visitors to the city over the past 10 years.
