Doughnut shop fills hole in West Palm Beach

A doughnut shop with a difference will be coming to West Palm Beach.

The Salty Donut, which has its roots in Miami working out of a trailer in 2015, will be opening a location in West Palm Beach at Rosemary Square. This will be the sixth of the brand’s brick-and-mortar stores, with other locations in Audubon Park, Wynwood, and South Beach in Florida, and Bishop Arts and Austin in Texas.

The store features flavors that range from mild to wild, and also serves traditional flavors such as maple bacon and glazed, as well as more exotic choices like horchata and pear margarita. Seasonal offerings also include sweet potato pie, tiramisu, and passion and dragon fruits. Beverage offerings include their selection of signature roasts of cold-brewed coffees and teas and expresso. Such shops often turn to local Print shops to print Menus and other materials highlighting such special offerings.

The shop in West Palm Beach will draw from the history of the city and the surrounding neighborhood in its design with motifs and local influences. Unique to this location is its beachside café vibe inspired by its proximity to the ocean. This signature look for the Salty Donut will be created by local artists and craftspeople, and will have custom-made furniture and picturesque murals.

The Salty Donut plans to open in Spring 2022.
