Young West Palm Beach history lovers are invited to attend an event that will help them to learn more about the First Nation’s people who once called the area home.
Grassy Waters Preserve will be hosting a guided excursion along its boardwalks, and those who participate will have an opportunity to learn more about the Native American tribes that once lived in the area. The guide will discuss the people and provide information about their culture and lifestyle, as well as their homes and the foods they ate. Poster printing can be utilized to create Posters and other promotional materials that can help to let people in the local area know when events like this will be taking place.
Once the walk is over, the participants will have an opportunity to put their creative talents to work by making a themed craft to take home with them. The activity is geared for the younger set, and parents are reminded to make sure they wear a hat, closed-toed shoes, and sunscreen, and bring along a bottle of water.
The session has been planned for May 28 in Grassy Waters Preserve, and parents and caregivers are asked to register their son or daughter ahead of time. It will take place on May 28, starting at 2:00 pm. Additional details have been made available on the West Palm Beach website.
