The inaugural Women's Conference of Florida is taking place next month in nearby Tampa.
The conference is aimed at women in business mainly, and the theme is "Inspire, involve, invest”. The first event of the conference will be the welcome cocktail reception on May 19, beginning at 5:00 PM at the Port of Tampa Bay. Tickets are $89 each.
The next day will be filled with activities. It will start off with a continental breakfast and will be followed by welcome remarks. There will be breakout sessions on topics such as social change and breaking barriers, workshops, and keynote speeches from Leslie Morgan Steiner, Kellyanne Conway, and Kimberley Lear. Other guest speakers are set to include Jean Chatzky, Jill Abramson, Lori Greiner, and the cast of The Shark Tank.
Several exhibitors will be showcasing their products and services. The winning team of the Young Women in Tech Challenge will be presenting their final project at the conference and each member will be awarded a $1,000 scholarship.
To advertise this event to surrounding communities such as Plant City, organizers may distribute Flyers.
