The 2021 Gasparilla Music Festival is coming to Tampa in the autumn. The event is managed by the Gasparilla Music Foundation, a 501©3 non-profit organization, founded in 2011. They are responsible for organizing the annual music event.
Music acts representing a broad range of genres will perform across multiple stages. Bands interested in participating at the festival may contact talent@gasparillamusic.com for information. Local restaurants will showcase their cuisine specialties throughout the festival.
The mission of the event is to help promote education and music while providing instruments to students of music as well as scholarships.
The event is held at the Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park and Kiley Gardens Park. It is a grassroots project for the local community and dependent on volunteerism. There are several areas where volunteers are needed. The event website has a list of roles available for anyone interested in volunteering.
