Tampa residents and visitors will celebrate the 11th Annual Oktoberfest in the downtown area at the Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park area.
The festival covers three days of activities and beer tasting. Attendees find that the waterfront is turned into a beer garden as people can enjoy the scenic downtown views and spectacular sunsets as they enjoy the activities of the festival.
Along with beer tasting, there will be dancing, dirndls, lederhosen and alphorns. A variety of Oktoberfest marzens, German Pils, and Hefeweizen will be available. Firkin tapping will take place daily. For wine lovers, both red and white varieties will be available. Fresh lemonade along with other treats will be at the festival, as well.
A special feature, Outrageous Bavarian Games, brings everyone together for authentic German games. Tug-O-War, Keg stacking, brat toss, Stein Hoisting, and Carry the Wench are part of the fun. The Beard and Mustache competition is recognized as one of the largest of its type in the region. Mr. and Mrs. Oktoberfest is a unique component of the festival fun.
Poster printing can create portable signage at outdoor festivals. The Posters highlight events through creative graphics, bold fonts, images and colorful presence.
Proceeds from the event benefit Are U Safe. The organization provides assistance for domestic violence victims and advocates for victims.
Tampa’s 11th Annual Oktoberfest will take place October 8 and 9.
