A Tampa stage is hosting a comedian with a unique style in early April.
Don McMillan became a household name in 2022, after several decades in the business of comedy. That year was when he appeared on “America’s Got Talent,” where he advanced all the way to the season’s finals. Prior to this, McMillan was granted a sum of $100,000 from “Star Search.”
In his pre-comedy life, he worked as an electrical engineer, earning his master’s degree from Stanford University. McMillan writes custom jokes for each show and the audience he is performing for. A unique aspect of his comedy is the use of visual graphs and charts through PowerPoint slideshows, which aid him in adding a layer of understanding to his routines, while allowing his nerdy personality to shine through.
Funny Bone Comedy Club’s local venue is both a restaurant and comedy venue. The menu is available to every guest, with a server allocated to each section of the performance space. A bar is also available. The food selection includes appetizers, salads, sandwiches, and entrees.
Tickets can be found on FBCC’s website. The options are $32 and $42, with the latter offering seating priority. The show is limited to those who are 21 or older. The performance starts at 7:30pm, with doors opening at 6:30pm on Friday, April 10. Flyer printing often acts as a promotion form for comedians and comedy venues.
