For a truly scary good time, Halloween enthusiast will be heading to Spookala, a horror convention, coming to Tampa in early October.
Presented by Busch Gardens' Howl O Scream, the three-day event will have live entertainment, a vendor hall, and over 40 Halloween celebrities from popular horror films including Zach Galligan, Marley Shelton, Danny Trejo, Walton Goggins and Howie Mandel. Guests may enjoy entering cosplay contests and viewing panels and question and answer sessions with horror stars and creators.
Single day admission will be $40 for Friday, $50 for Saturday and $40 for Sunday, weekend pass will be $65. Although Gold passes have been sold out, VIP Silver passes will be $175. These include entry for three days, event shirts sporting the Spookala graphic design, an event laminate, poster, 1/2-hour early entrance to vender hall, and event trading card.
Single day parking will be $10, two-day will be $18 and all-weekend passes will be $25.
Autographs with Walton Goggins will be $120 and $80 for autograph signing by Antony Starr. Other celebrities except Alan Tydyk and Howie Mandel will be doing table selfies. Celebrities at their signing booths will be accepting cash only.
This year's Spookala will take place from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm October 4, 10:00 am to 7:00 pm on 5th, and 10:00 am to 5:00 pm on the 6th at the Florida State Fairgrounds Expo Hall, entry on US Highway 301 North.
