Tampa Riverwalk will have its annual May Riverfest back this year.
As part of Riverfest, Taste of the Riverwalk, will offer culinary samples from restaurants around Tampa.
Wristbands will be needed to enter the food tent. One color will be $15 for three samples, and the other $20 one will include five samples, and they may be purchased online.
Taste of Riverwalk will be Friday, May 3rd from 5:30 pm to 9:00 pm in Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park.
Riverfest will take place in several Riverwalk parks May 3rd and 4th. Family activities such as the wiener dog derby, yoga, a paddle invasion and water ski show, have been scheduled and a concert series will showcase local and regional bands in Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park. Balloon glows will take place each night at sunset.
Marketing Promo tents will be open from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm on Friday in Curtis Hixon Park. Many local businesses will be passing out samples and current Business Cards.
Riverfest Market will take place in Water Works Park on Saturday from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm. The park will also feature a lantern workshop from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a lantern parade from 8:30 pm to 9:30 pm.
Taco Fest will be Saturday, and wristbands will be required.
