At the Florida Aquarium in downtown Tampa, Moon Bay recently held a grand opening ceremony in time for the summer vacation season.
The exhibit is in the lobby on the first floor and feature translucent moon jellies, which have circular bells that look like moons and can be touched. There is also Heart of the Sea, a habitat that holds 100,000 gallons and was recently renovated, and features over 400 animals, including underwater coral trees, coral reef fishes, sharks, and endangered sea turtles.
The Museum of Science and Industry recently opened a new permanent exhibit called the Dinovations Lab. The main feature of this exhibit is the Diplodocus skeleton measuring 31 feet high. There are other hands-on exhibits as part of the Lab too.
The museum also has an exhibit called ‘One Small Step’, to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the landing of Apollo 11 on the moon. To mark the anniversary, the museum will host a special celebration on July 20. Events such as these can use flyer printing to help advertise and promote themselves.
Through August 11, there is an exhibit called ‘History by the Pint: Beer and Brewing in Tampa Bay’ at the Tampa Bay Historical Center. The colorful history of beer in Tampa Bay is highlighted in this exhibit. Also opened through July 14 is an exhibit on how the railroad brought significant changes to the state.
