Legendary group headed to Tampa

A well-known boy band will be bringing its show to Tampa in late June.

The Backstreet Boys came together in 1993, releasing their self-titled debut album in 1996. The group consists of Brian Littrell, Nick Carter, Kevin Richardson, AJ Mclean, and Howie Dorough. Since the start, the band has gained many accolades, including stars on multiple walks of fame. They have released multiple records, as well as touring the world. Another unique award they own is the Guinness World Record for having “the most nationalities in a hot tub.”

The DNA World Tour is the latest venture of the group. Tickets currently are priced between $100 and $709.69. At the time of writing, there are no Covid-19 protocols in place, although this may change by the time of the concert. Merchandise printed with the group’s Logo Design will be among the items available for sale at the event. The venue is set to be the MIDFLORIDA Credit Union Amphitheatre, which is located on the Florida State Fairgrounds.

Attendees are not currently allowed to bring their own lawn chairs, but the venue has a few that can be rented for $10 each. Tickets are to be presented using mobile devices and a service known as “Mobile Entry,” rather than a printed paper or email. For a more detailed explanation of how this works, guests can visit the venue’s website.

The concert will kick off at 7:30 pm on June 21.
