The Florida Orchestra will offer Beethoven, Expect the Unexpected, Music of the Knights, and Brahms during November.
Hough Family Foundation Masterworks will present Beethoven's Symphony No. 5 featuring the ever-popular Strauss' Also Sprach Zarathustra Op. 30 8:00 pm on November 1 at the Starz Center, 8:00 pm November 2nd at the Mahaffey Theater and 7:30 pm on November 3rd at Ruth Eckerd Hall.
Morning Matinee's Expect the Unexpected will include Haydn's Farewell Symphony, Wieniawski' piece on themes from Gounod's Faust, Prokofiev's Lieutenant Kije Suite, Op. 60 and Shostakovich's Festival Overture, Op. 96.
Performances will be at 11:00 am Wednesday November 6th at Ruth Eckerd Hall and Thursday, November 7th at Mahaffey Theater.
Raymond James Pops will feature a matinee and evening performance of Music of the Knights at Mahaffey Theater. This performance of the works of Elton John, Andrew Lloyd Webber and Pal McCartney will be geared to the younger crowd. Teens and kids' tickets may be purchased online for $20.
Music of the Knights will be November 16th beginning at 11:00 am 8:00 pm.

The orchestra's Hough Family Foundation Masterworks series will feature Beethoven's Symphony no. 2 at the Starz Center on November 22nd and the Mahaffey Theater on November 23rd. Along with the Brahms work, the program will include Samuel Coleridge-Taylor's Ballade in A minor, Op. 33 and Edvard Grieg' Piano Concerto in A minor, Op. 16. The performances will begin at 8:00 pm.
