The 44th annual Tower Foundation bowling tournament will take place at Pin Chasers Midtown on September 27 from 6:30 pm - 9:15 pm. Fees are $100 for each bowler or $50 for spectators. All proceeds go to support the Children's Medical Center at Tampa General Hospital.
The bowling tournament will feature several celebrity players, such as Tampa mayor Bob Buckhorn, Tampa Bay Buccaneer players, the CEO of the Tampa Lightning, the City of Tampa chief of police, and other government officials. Players are able to pay extra to have a celebrity player on their team. Those who do wish to take part and do not have a team in mind will be assigned to already existing teams. In addition to bowling, there will be prize draws, a live auction and a dinner buffet. The winning team will receive the Tower Foundation Trophy at the end of what will be a fun way to raise money for such a worthy charity.
Sponsorships are available from $600 to $5,000 and all sponsors will receive recognition in the program booklet, on the Tower Foundation website, and will have their company name displayed on a banner at the event. The organizers will probably be using the banner printing services of Tampa printing companies. Banners are reasonably priced and are very versatile, coming in all sizes, a large selection of materials, and a variety of shapes.
