Band to take a final bow in Tampa

A group with a career spanning 50 years will host a blowout final show for Tampa residents in mid-October.

Aerosmith made their leap into the wild world of rock n’ roll music by dropping their self-titled debut in 1973, with “Dream On,” one of their most iconic songs, climbing the charts and bringing the band their first taste of success. Since then, they have continually pushed the limits, a move which has seen them not only win numerous awards, but also achieve many firsts. These include having their own ride at two Disney theme parks (the “Rock ‘N’ Roller coaster featuring Aerosmith” located in Disney World in Orlando, Florida and Disneyland in Paris, France), as well as bringing hard rock music to the Super Bowl Halftime Show.

PEACE OUT: The Farewell Tour will bring longtime band members Joe Perry, Brad Whitford, Steven Tyler, and Tom Hamilton to the Amalie Arena. Joey Kramer, also a member, is unable to tour with the group, so he will be replaced by John Douglas. The Black Crowes will join the show as well.

Tickets sold via Ticketmaster are ranging from $217 to $6,748 at the time of writing. The show will likely see the performers offering merchandise highlighting a graphic design relating to their past works or the current tour. This concert is currently scheduled for a 7:00 pm starting time on Wednesday, October 11.
