Orlando school establishes partnership to support children

Carver Middle School in Orlando has partnered with Jones High School and Eccleston Elementary to provide the necessary resources for all children, from kindergarten to their senior year in high school, on campus.

Carver Middle School will partner with Children’s Home Society of Florida to ensure that kids have everything they need to be successful in school. This partnership will enable children to find access to healthcare, family engagement, academic resources, and overall support during their years in school.

News of such partnerships and their benefits for children and their families is often made known throughout a community with flyer printing.

Children’s Home Society of Florida is the leading non-profit organization in the state that provides such programs. It has partnered with 37 other schools in Florida, and Carver Middle School becomes its fifth school in Orlando.

The principal of Carver Middle School, Samuel Danner, said that bringing these resources to the school will make it easier for families who are not able to take time out of their daily schedule to help with such needs. He added it may take a weight off the mind of busy parents, many of whom work at two jobs.

Tabia Kuntz, Community Partnerships School Director at Carver Middle School, said that the school will work from the top down to ensure that families and children have what they need in terms of groceries, medical support, and anything else they might require.
