Yoga session helps soon-to-be mothers near Ocoee
A beneficial yoga session focused on helping mothers-to-be improve their health and recovery is coming to the Ocoee area.
The Mommy-To-Be Yoga Series Postpartum Recovery and Rebuilding Strength session will begin welcoming future mothers from the Ocoee area next month, promoting health and wellness during and after pregnancy. The event, which entails four parts spread across the month of May, will be designed to promote health while allowing soon-to-be mothers to connect with other attendees, potentially making friendships as they do this.
Students who enroll in the workshop will start with learning gentle movements that promote recovery, restore strength after childbirth, and increase flexibility to prevent future injuries. The instructors will also guide attendees on the mental journey of having a child and the first few weeks and months of parenthood. Brochure printing is an immersive learning resource for participants in such workshops to learn more about what to expect and how to bolster their health.
The session is open to interested parties who are expecting and want to get a head start on what to expect. Childcare is not provided, and participants are encouraged to check with their physician before enrolling.
The yoga series will be held at Healthy West Orange in nearby Winter Garden, starting on Saturday, May 3. The doors open at 10:00 AM. Tickets are available online for $3 per class session.
