Women's brunch arranged in Ocoee

A women's empowerment brunch will be held in Ocoee this July.

The event, titled 'SupportASistah', is a joint venture by Tamica Cobb and Tisha Flowers. It seeks to bring businesswomen in the Ocoee area together, where they may connect and further support each other.

The brunch will feature Monique Scott Nichols as a guest speaker. She currently serves as the founder of Women of Orlando, a for-profit company established in 2021. She has also been a part of Pink is Possible, and is a Delta Sigma Theta, Inc. member. As the facilitator for this session, she aims to motivate attendees to remain steadfast in the pursuit of their goals, and to keep moving forward.

The event's organizers are also businesswomen that have been in partnership for a number of projects. Some of their companies include A J.E.W.E.L. Within, and Yoni Care Orlando. Their aim through this event is to provide inspiration for other women.

The cost for tickets will be $60, not inclusive of the sales tax. Tickets are available for purchase on the Eventbrite website. Ticket sales will end on July 23. Print shops can be a useful avenue to find material for events such as this.

This event will be held on July 30 at the Bar 5 Lounge and Grill. This is located at 9401 West Colonial Drive, Ocoee, Florida 34761. It begins at 12:00 pm and ends at 4:00 pm.
