Planet Fitness job fair seeks new representative
Planet Fitness has decided to step up its customer service with added on-site staffing to give members in Ocoee a better exercising experience.
Open interviews will be conducted for a Member Services Representative position. The new hire’s job is to offer friendly and helpful customer service to guests. They will be trained on how to greet members and newcomers, handle front desk activities, take prospective members on brief tours, and clean up equipment after club hours.
Planet Fitness needs a hardworking individual who knows their way around sign-up forms, members’ accounts, and is also willing to assist callers with any questions they might have. Soft skills such as having empathy for others and being an upbeat problem solver are preferred as well. Anyone who is reliable, punctual, and computer-literate would be well qualified for this opening, and being passionate about fitness and health is a plus too.
Planet Fitness owns many workout centers across the U.S., where members can do some intensive training like running steps on the treadmill, lifting heavy weights with their shoulders, performing sit-ups to burn off excess fat, or working on their endurance. Those interested in applying for this position must be capable of certain physical demands, including standing for long periods and lifting up to 50lbs by themselves.
