Ocoee residents prepare for Annual Founders Day Festival
The small town of Ocoee is excited to celebrate its upcoming 26th Annual Founders’ Day Festival, hoping to attract a bigger crowd than seen in previous years.
This two-day event has something fun for everyone, whether they like to browse through art galleries, test their skills at carnival games, or listen to country music at their leisure. The Ocoee community has planned various festivities in advance to make this year’s Founders’ Day Festival a weekend to remember.
Supported by sponsors such as City Center West Orange, it offers many kinds of family-friendly activities, including carnival full of games and thrill rides, arts and crafts for the kids, a marketplace displaying home-made decorations, a classic car show, face painting stations, fireworks, and plenty of foods to try. Art vendors should consider giving away promotional pens to make a positive impact on their visitors.
People attending the festival might catch a glimpse of special guests during the country music line-up, starring Sam Riggs, Jimmie Allen, and LANCO. Those looking for a chance to win raffle prizes are welcome to enter the golf, poker, or fishing “tourneys”. There will also be tours available for both the Withers Maguire Museum and the Ocoee Christian Church.
This traditional festival will last from 7:00 am to 11:00 pm on October 25 to 26, at the LakeFront Park in Ocoee.
