The Orange County Library System will host an educational project on influential women in history next month.
The event aims to educate children on women who have positively contributed to development, whether social or otherwise. It is aimed at children between the ages of three and five years old.
The headliner of this event will be Ruth Bader Ginsburg, former associate Supreme Court Justice. Ginsburg was a lawyer who was nominated by Bill Clinton to the Supreme Court in 1993. She was at the time only the second woman to have ever served in her role, and held the position until her passing in 2020.
This event will have interactive games and other fun activities for those in attendance. Parents can look forward to children being entertained while they learn. Winter Garden Branch frequently hosts events such as these, acting as educational projects for children on a variety of topics.
Families will need to register for this event to attend. More details can be found on the Library County System's website. Poster printing is a great way to create usefully and creative materials for events such as these.
This educational event will be held at the Winter Garden Branch on Saturday, March 19. The branch is located at 805 E. Plant Street Winter Garden, Ocoee, Florida. 34787. It begins at 10:30 am and ends at 11:15 am.
