Ocoee golf fundraiser back for its 12th year
The Ocoee Lions Club has organized its annual golf tournament for 2017, and it is hoping that the community will once again show its generous support.
The day will kick off with a shotgun start at 8:00 am, and beverages and other refreshments will be available on the course for anyone who needs a break. After the golf, the participants will gather together for a lunch, and prizes will be awarded.
Those who are interested can register individually or as a part of a team, and the entry fee per person will be $75, which includes the cost of a cart rental, green fees, and the meal. The registration fee for a foursome is $250.00.
The monies collected through this golf fundraiser will be used by the Lions Club to support its community service projects both locally and further afield as well. A printer can be called upon to produce an assortment of branded promotional products that can be used as swag for an event such as this.
This day of fun and fundraising has been planned for June 24, with registration opening for the day at 7:00 am. It will be held at the Forest Lake Golf Course, and contributions are tax deductible. Anyone who would like to find out further information has been asked to contact Cathy Sills at 407-810-0290 or Mike Paulin at 407-325-7852.
