Ocoee gets to grips with landscaping
A landscaping event will take place in Ocoee next month.
Florida Friendly Landscaping is being presented by Orange County Utilities and the UF/IFAS Extension. During the event, individuals will learn different landscaping solutions, as well as obtain accessories such as seeds and water gauges.
The event is taking place in April, which fittingly is also Water Conservation Month. The information provided will cover subjects such as pollinators, water conservation, use of pesticides, fertilizer usage, and more.
The event is free for interested individuals to attend. Participation in this event is available to individuals on a first come, first served basis. The seeds and gauges offered at the event are limited. If individuals have questions, they are asked to call 407-254-9602 and speak with the Orange County Utilities Water Division. For the health and safety of other participants, individuals are asked to follow CDC guidelines pertaining to COVID-19. Individuals should stay home if they are sick or have been in close contact with a person that has COVID-19
Brochure printing is a great way for organizers of events such as this to provide information about landscaping to attendees.
The event will take place on Wednesday, April 12. It will start at 5:30 pm and end at 6:30 pm. It will be located at the Winter Garden Branch on 805 E Plant St, Ocoee.
