Ocoee gets in back-to-school mood
A back-to-school drive is to be held in Ocoee this July.
The event, titled the Community Resource Fair, aims to provide residents with supplies and resources for school and the family. These include backpacks, books, pens, pencils, and more. This year´s staging of the event has expanded to include youth and family organizations, selfie stations for keepsake items, music, and a host of other entertainment suitable for the entire family. The affiliated organizations present will be from a variety of fields including health, sports, finance, and more.
The conduct of the day will focus on the guidance of the family dynamic, improving access to resources, and positively impacting communities and relationships within them.
The event is sponsored by the Community Life Improvement Center alongside the Steps Foundation. Both of these are non-profit groups that offer opportunities to underfunded and underserved members of the community. They aim to encourage growth in these individuals through education, retreats, workshops, and varying other strategies. The groups will be represented by You Are Life Consulting, which operates by bringing those in need to the non-profits for aid. The event is free for all to attend.
Promotional pens can be a great souvenir item for events like this one. It can also be a useful tool for attracting donors.
This event will take place on July 22 at 9401 West Colonel Drive, Ocoee. The event begins at 12:00 pm and ends at 3:00 pm.
