Movie cast to make Mardi Gras appearance
The Ever After movie crew is bringing a touch of New Orleans to this year’s Mardi Gras festival in Ocoee.
Hosted by Orlando Princess Parties, this Mardi Gras celebration will begin with a musical performance by the Bayou Prince and Princess from the movie, Ever After: A Cinderella Story. At Everdream, guests will get to join their favorite characters for a meet and greet session, with a chance to snap some photos for the whole family. This event is sponsored by Princesses and Princes, an organization that offers party arrangements for kids.
There will be jazz music playing as the characters introduce themselves on stage, followed by the famous Mardi Gras Ribbon Parade, featuring dancers in green and purple outfits. Guests can craft their own parade masks during Mardi Gras-themed games to participate in the festival spirit. A playground area will be available for dropping off small children whenever families need to take a break from the outdoor party.
This one-hour event will be split into two-morning sessions: guests can join in the festivities at either the 9:30 to 10:30 am session, or the one held at 11:30 am to 12:00 pm. Both are on February 16.
Tickets for children cost $10.99 whereas adult admission only costs $4.99. Stationery printers can be a welcome addition to arts and crafts activities at holiday gatherings.
