Cocktail enthusiasts and aspiring bartenders will want to leave an opening in the calendar next month, as a mixology course is providing training in Ocoee.
The Shake, Sip, and Celebrate Mixology Course will start in a few weeks. It will offer a hands-on learning experience to individuals interested in creating cocktails at home. The course, led by Sunny Mixers, will have a special Cinco de Mayo theme. The instructor will share the history of each cocktail and mixed drink, and each attendee will learn the basics of making three different cocktails.
Guests will mix and muddle traditional ingredients to create classic Mexican mixed drinks. The event will focus on teaching the art of making Margaritas, Palomas, and a surprise cocktail that will be unveiled during the course. Mocktail options will also be available for individuals who do not drink alcohol. Brochure printing is an outstanding way to share the history and ingredients of each cocktail at such events.
The course instructor will also provide bartending tips to impress friends and family. Registered guests can attend solo or bring friends to enjoy the learning experience. All participants must be 21 or older to enter the course.
Island Touch Cafe will host the mixology course on Saturday, May 4, beginning at 6:00 pm and concluding at 8:00 pm. Tickets are priced at $50 per attendee and can be purchased online.
