Healthcare plan in the works for Ocoee
A conceptual plan has recently been developed for the creation of a new medical center in Ocoee.
According to the mayor of the community, John Grogan, they have been working to get a new campus of Orlando health. So far, drawings have been worked up and studies have been done to determine the feasibility of such a project. A printing company can produce large size versions of the artist’s concept drawing and other materials that can be used for presentations to the different stakeholders who may be interested in learning more, or they can be combined into informational packages about the plans.
The idea for the new facility would include the development of the Health Central’s 100 acres of land to make it more attractive to different firms in the healthcare business. Mayor Grogan noted that it would be of great benefit to the city to be known as a hub for health care and related research. He pointed out that this can bring highly skilled and high paying jobs to the community, which can create spin off employment in other areas, thus attracting even more people to take up residence in the vicinity.
The city’s planner remarked that the large parcel of land that is available for development of this health care complex could put it on par with other big medical establishments across the country.
