What's Happening in Ocoee, FL…

Festival celebrates the wine harvest

The 25th annual Harvest Festival is taking place in a couple of weeks, lasting for three days.

There will be more than 80 artists and crafters on hand to sell their handmade, original items, such as jewelry, clothing, and pottery creations. Music from performers such as the Dave Capp Project, Blue Stone and Baby Blues, and the No Attitude Band will keep things lively.

Food and beverages will be available for purchase, and visitors can also take a tour of the vineyard to try some grape stomping. Of course, there will also be wine tastings.

There is still room for vendors at the festival, although they need to sign up by tomorrow, May 29. Fees for a 10 x 10 foot space are $125 or $230 for two. All of the spaces must be tented and made to look as attractive as possible.

For those vendors who have already been accepted, and are likely to come from all over the area, including nearby Ocoee, many of them will probably have invested in sign and banner printing services.

The Harvest Festival is being held at the Lakeridge Winery and Vineyards from June 12 to 14 from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. Admission is a $2 donation that will benefit the Hospice Foundation. To find out more about this event, or to become a vendor, call 1-800-768-9463 or visit the Lakeridge website.
