Cake decorating class brings holiday fun to Ocoee
Bakers and Ocoee residents with an insatiable sweet tooth are in for a treat, as a cake decorating class will be making a holiday stop in town.
The Christmas Cake Decorating Class, organized by Flour, Eggs, and Yeast, will be making a visit to Ocoee next month, providing area residents and visitors an opportunity to learn new skills when decorating cakes for the holidays. The course will be led by Theresa, a baker with over 20 years of cake decorating experience and a degree from culinary school at the New York Restaurant School.
Theresa will cover the basics of decorating cakes in a beginner-friendly course and a welcoming setting. Interested parties of all experience levels are welcome to register and attend the learning session. Brochure printing is seen as an excellent way to share the steps and techniques students can use when decorating cakes in the course and at home.
Students will create a three-layer holiday-themed cake during the two-hour learning session. Attendees 21 and over can order a glass of wine, specialty coffee, or mimosa to sip on throughout the event. Interested parties should bring their phones and aprons, along with a positive attitude.
Island Touch Coffee will host the cake decorating class on Sunday, December 15th, from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM. Interested parties can make reservations for the course online, starting at $103 per student.
