What's Happening in Ocoee, FL…

Annual Easter event returns to Ocoee

The city of Ocoee will host its annual Easter Eggstravaganza in April.

The event, sponsored each year by the Parks and Recreation Department, is one of several held throughout the year that provides entertainment for the entire family.

Poster printing is one way to advertise events like this, and local print shops can work with the organizers to design eye-catching posters. The Parks and Recreation department has a colorful poster outlining the details for this fun-filled morning on its website.

Attendees will be treated to food and refreshments, a balloon artist, and face painting. Bounce houses will be available for the kids to use during the festivities, and the Easter Bunny will be on site for photos with the children.

The main happening, the Easter Egg hunt, will have over 10,000 eggs for the youngsters to collect. The egg hunt will begin at 10:30 am and is open to children up to 12 years old.

Children are encouraged to join the coloring contest, which will be broken into age groups of 0-3, 4-6, 7-9, and 10-12. The pictures for them to color are available for downloading on the City of Ocoee’s website. They need to be turned in by 9:00 am on April 18.

The event will be held on Saturday, April 20 from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon. The location is the Jim Beech Recreation Center at 1820 A.D. Mims Road.
